Hay Day farming in Myrtle Glen

Hello and Thanks for your interest in the Hay Day neighborhood Myrtle Glen.

We have recruitment advertisements posted in the  Just Hay Day forum recruitment section and in the r/hayday Reddit group, but here you can read in detail about our requirements.

First of all, we are a well-established neighborhood at mid-size and we want to keep it that way. As interests change and Life happens, farmers move on to other games or stop playing hay day and that is ok, but this created the space to invite active farmers into our hood.

A little about us:

We have long-time farmers in our hood since 2015 when Myrtle Glen was created. Most of us live in different states of the US, but we have farmers in Ireland, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand, and Canada.

Our farmers are pretty quiet, not much chatting going on, and everyone is self-sufficient, but if needed, we are all there to help.
None of us likes drama, it is simply not tolerated. We also do not like farmers not able to play their level, meaning, we love to help but if all we read is give me - give me -give me, it just won't work out.
We have no rules on selling and trading, it is up to each farmer if they want to sell their goods at full price or cheaper. Trading is preferred, we have a Facebook Messenger group chat to post trade offers and for chatting.

On to the expectations we have of a farmer joining Myrtle Glen:

  • Any level will be accepted, but be at least at level 60 for Derby participation
  • Age does not matter, as long as you are polite and act in an adult-like manner
  • Be fluent in the English language
  • Be active, playing your farm daily
  • Join our 2nd Facebook Messenger chat group specifically for discussing derby strategies
  • If opted in for the derby week, you have to follow the rules
  • Participate in the Birdhouse requests (gifting)
Most of all, it is a game, so have fun tending to your farm! All of us know that Life happens and there are times you cannot be in Hay Day, but communicate, let the other farmers know if you are not able to play.

And here are the Derby team requirements:

  • Be at level 60 or higher
  • Only opt in for the derby week if you know you will be able to complete all 9 tasks at 320 or higher. The 10th task is voluntary, with most of us willing pay for the 10th task if it is a close race.
  • Join our Facebook Messenger Derby chat group, we use it to organize the specialty derbies Blossom and Bingo.
  • Blossom and Bingo derbies are a group effort and require the commitment to finish the necessary tasks decided on in the group chat in a timely manner. It is fun to play together as a group, but if a farmer rather does play on their own, they must opt out of the specialty derbies.
  • You will have Elder status and it is expected of all derby players to help clear the board of unfavorable tasks
  • We have a fixed Race begin time, everyone is welcome to volunteer to start the race.
  • No reserving of tasks, with the exception of specialty derbies which are organized via the FB messenger Derby group chat.

If you believe you will feel comfortable in Myrtle Glen, you may contact EturtleFL on Reddit, private message Eturtle on the Just Hay Day forum, or stop on by the neighborhood with tag: #RJRCYVQ
